Complaints Policy

As a registered childminder it is important that the relationship between myself and children's parents is professional. I aim to maintain good communication between both parties at all times and will work in partnership with parents consistently. Parents should bring any aspect of my care that they are not happy with to my attention immediately so that every effort can be made to resolve the matter through frank and open discussion.

If you prefer to bring the issue to my attention in writing please send me an e-mail at info@nikkisfunhouse.co.uk or alternatively you can write me a letter. It is set out in the standards of the EYFS that every matter should be investigated and a response will be issued within 28 days of the initial complaint.

If I do not receive a formal complaint in writing, I will inform Ofsted within 14 days that a complaint has been made.

I will keep a written record of all complaints and will keep these for at least 3 years. Confidentiality will be maintained at all times.
